Formed in 1998, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, Hell and Highwater Productions became an umbrella under which many people would come together to help Kelly Service make his movies. They would come to the table with experience or with a desire to learn (along with Kelly) how the (low-budget) filmmaking process works... or doesn't.

Although, there is sometimes a period of stasis, there is always an idea on the horizon. Like a hypnotized army of the night, these dear wonderful people look to the sky every night for the sign that the script is done, the clapboard has been freed from it's box and the film is loaded.
